397 The potion ingredients were so expensive that the characters had to sell the backgrounds. They couldn't afford realistic fire either.

apparently light reflection (off the potion) is in the budget, too

Although the potion does seem to be a light source itself...

Expensive indeed, to cost the background and realistic fire. Good to see they are managing.

To be fair, would be uneasy about anything being brewed in a cauldron.

Obviously Layla isn't far enough into puberty to know that she's thinking about a guy. Although not in that way, she's thinking about why Kevin and his dead bro are such jerks.

In all fairness I'd think she is more worried about dying from the poison in her system. Let's hope she makes it with little complications.
