444 When I was about 15 or 16 I also did a project like this for biology class. My report was on cheetahs and it was the first time I ever went online to look up information. I think this was before Google, guys. o.o

Did you use AltaVista? I remember that was my favorite search engine for ages when I first had online access....

If you break down the lobster on the scientific level it is weird. They pretty much are the bugs of the sea. Which bug its closest related to I wont say simply because I don't want to ruin lobster for those who have yet to try it. The only thing better then lobsters? ROCK LOBSTERS!

LOBSTAHS.

And Helen... you're not one to comment on weirdness, you adorable girl.

@SpecterHSC: I'm assuming cockroaches? Shrimps are very similar to bugs as well, yet we very happily de-shell them, pull off their tails and heads and eat them. Or is that prawns? Or is it both?

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie You are correct sir it is indeed the cockroach. You either really know your marine biology or like me watch way too much Good Eats on the food network before Alton Brown decided to stop making new episode. And it is both the prawn and shrimp. Same thing more or less but still different species I think. Some people do eat the shrimp heads though.

@SpecterHSC: Nah, I just watch a British panel quiz show called QI too much. ^^;

As for eating cockroaches... My view on food is very simple. I will try most things at least once. If it is yummy, I will eat it, regardless of what it is made of. Nice and simple.

@Specter: My only response to your gross out challenge is, do you know what is in processed chicken? The stuff that makes McDonald's chicken nuggets and such?

replies @contradiction123: Helen has a unique way of looking at the world

@june: Lulu would win though

@sfg: I don't remember. It might've been Yahoo.

@Cave: Mmm, yes!

@SpecterHSC: Which is kind of funny; I hate bugs, but I don't mind lobsters too much, they're kind of cute.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Weirdness is relative

@sfg: False nowadays. At least in Britain they use 100% Chicken breast. They can't exactly claim so in adverts unless it's actually true, because at least one person will find out and leak the story and then they'll be lawsuits and all kinds of crap.

Besides, when I say I'll eat any food as long as it tastes good, I pretty much mean it. Food is food.

@sfg I had no intention of making a gross out challenge which is why I didn't mention what the lobster was related to. Sorry if I offended. Granted what goes into some processed foods most people don't want to know myself included.

That being said I've eaten my fair share of things that I don't ever want to mention to people mainly cause my Chinese grandma thought it was good for me. Really the only things I wont eat are anything made from organs like liver or hearts. It just has too much of an iron taste to me.

@SpecterHSC: You just reminded me of something I found hilarious... a few years back, my Father had a liver transplant. It went fine and everything... but one of the first choices after his transplant was, indeed, liver. XD
