462 I think a few of you were curious about Lyla's reaction.

The ripped-out eye thing is not exactly easy to miss

Don't worry Lyla, it'll grow back.

Also he was kinda totally completely worried about you. Plus, y'know, there is that potion. And Angela's kinda dying. And you were abducted by zombies who you are now having tea with. Actually, that's probably why the zombies are having a tea party with Lyla, to distract her.

I dunno if I feel more sorry for Luke or Lyla here. Luke ripped his eye out when Lyla wasn't even really in danger, but Lyla.... Well, imagine if you found out your friend ripped out his own eye for your sake. No matter what the reasoning, you'd feel kinda guilty.

I'd like to say that, even when she's worried, like on the last panel, she is still so freakin' cute. x3

@DracheLehre: Considering it would have been the first thing I would have noticed, she did take quite a while to notice.

Anyway, Butters, what you need to do at some point is a joke based on Luke's newly acquired lack of depth perception. Like standing several feet in front of someone while attacking, or accidentally zooming right past someone and into a wall. :P Although the Reborn doesn't really have a need for jokes, so never mind.

You actually may have decent depth perception with one eye.

I mean, I never notice a difference when I close one eye.

@Terminal Devastation: That is a good point, but you still have your other eye, even if it's closed, and you have usually seen the same surrounding with both eyes, so you brain remembers some of it to help you keep your depth perception. It's alot different if you are missing one eye, have lost sight in one eye or have one eye covered for extended peroids.

Doubt he's proposing. Not the right time for that kind of thing with the kidnapping, the zombies, the death ring and ripping your own eye things going on. Just so busy. Prefect for self doubt, freaking out and and anger though. Hallmark really needs to expand into their fields.

I think your eye can eventuall compensate for depth perception with one eye. I mean the lack of his right eye never seem to slow down Big Boss.

*knocking from around the corner*

What was that noise?

@SpecterHSC: I'm not sure about that. It might just be that he's learnt to judge distances with his eye so the depth perception isn't too much of an obstacle.

replies @ffx2player: She didn't see it coming

@DracheLehre: I didn't really convey it well, but Luke's hair is supposed to be hanging in his face, hiding it somewhat.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: I feel more sorry for Luke. Lyla... is not terribly compassionate.

@Terminal Devastation: It's probably something I should look up, though I'm not sure exactly what terms to Google...

@RazorD9: And the being 14. That's important too. But yeah, I agree about the greeting cards.

@SpecterHSC: Is that a Metal Gear reference? All I know about the series is from Super Smash Bros >.>;
