Page 20 - Trying to get more interesting fonts, and also the backgrounds are slightly more detailed than normal.

Anyway, Angela has made the classic mistake of darting down a dark alley. She's panicking, ok? >_>

I have a good sense of the action from the panels, and I know how hard it is to do a brick wall, but the placement of the crates and the wall are a little akward. You might want to study perspective a bit more.

Oh the baby is so cute and evil, I want to cuddle it!

which leads us to a new question, are the babies cuddleable? I mean, they look as if they could be shadow/smoke constructs, or their fur could be all bristly. I do hope that they are cuddly though.

They're quite solid; fur is a bit rough, like some large breeds of dogs though

hmm, my dog's got kinda bristly fur ( she's a labrador) but she's huggable, so I'd say that yes, in that case the babies are cuddleable *cuddles one*

@Aquilo, thanks. I'm working on the sound effects ^^

@Mimi, Machine gun? O_o;

A little better. Try using more atypical onomotapias for your action sounds. The "SHP" noise is an example of a good atypical onomotapia.

You should also think about reading some tutorials about how to do backgrounds. There are simple ways of doing depth that would really fix some of the wonky brickwork you've got on this page.

I'm not trying to knock you down. I actually like your work. In fact, I wouldn't be so overly critical if I didn't feel a wind from the future. Your style looks like it has a lot of growth potential. I'm sure that in a few years, you'll be amazing.

Perspective

It's not that I can't do proper perspective, I just don't like to. The first few pages were all done with a ruler and the backgrounds feel stiff, and were a chore to draw.
Free-hand backgrounds don't feel stiff, and are fun for me to draw. But then we get wonky bricks X_x
I'll have to find a happy medium between the two, but since the next two pages are already inked, and I don't have the time to redraw them, you'll have to wait a bit. ^_^

Perspective suggestion

You could try starting out by lightly pencilling everything in with the "proper" perspective and a ruler and what not first, and then go over it again darker, but freehand it and make it look more realistic and not so sterile, and then ink that layer...?

I dunno. Just a suggestion. That's what I try to do when I feel like my ruler has taken over the page.
